As the shadow of Mordor crept across the lands of Gondor, a quiet force stirred beneath the ancient canopy of Lamedon’s forests. Few knew of them, and fewer still could name their leader. She was Karalalla, an elven queen faded from the scrolls of history and remembered only in hushed songs and mist-veiled dreams. She hailed from a secret woodland realm between the White Mountains and the sea, long forgotten by maps and memory.

When the call for aid rang out across Gondor, she answered not with armies, but with shadows that struck swiftly and unseen, their steeds cloaked in twilight purple, like wraiths born of leaf and moonlight. Together, the Riders and the Men of the Vale harried the forces of Mordor through the valleys of the White Mountains. Whispers of silver-eyed riders and unseen blades spread among enemy ranks and the people of Gondor took heart, though they did not know from where the aid had come.

Elves, fierce-hearted Hobbits, and bold Men and Women of the Vale formed Kara’s silent army, but there was one less subtle: Ursullina, a fierce beorn-warrior. The rhythmic cadence of her steps emanates a steadiness of body and mind as tavern floors creak beneath a hidden beast, her mass unchanged between forms. Though capable of unbridled fury and tenacious by nature – there’s a sense of calmness, composure, and evenness of temper behind the orange eyes.

Where Karalalla led with silence, Ursullina followed with thunder.

Mae Govannen, as the Elves are fond of saying, though in Bree we would simply offer a smile and a song. My name is Ethiwaen, and I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember! It’s my happy duty to bring melody and merriment to the kinship and all folk who care to listen.

I love requests for new music to add to an already well-stocked library. Each song is a welcome challenge and a chance to add a bit of joy to those who listen, whether at a quiet corner of Bree or beneath the banners and firelight of Dragonfest.

I enjoy composing for special occasions, tailoring music to suit the moment. My goal has always been simple: to offer a little something for everyone, from quiet hearth-songs to bold anthems fit to stir even the sleepiest listener.

Whether the tune is lively or gentle, music has a way of making even the longest roads feel shorter, and I believe there is no gathering so small that it cannot be improved by a well-played song.
